A new Enterprise Program that aims to identify and initiate innovative and sustainable investment projects has been established and is being introduced to Kenyan Diaspora prospective investors. Fountain Enterprise Program (FEP) has many goals, key of which is to ultimately generate wealth for the shareholders.
In the interview with KEN after a presentation in Atlanta recently, FEP founder John Kithaka said that through these companies, the shareholders will be helped to attain real financial freedom through joint ventures which guarantee best return on investment by embracing economics of scale and power of pooling people and resources together.
Mr. Kithaka and his team have been making rounds in the United States to raise awareness of his organization to the Diaspora as they also raise capital for three mega projects in Kenya. The group has already began facilitating financing for its members.
Said Kithaka; “Currently FEP has SACCO registered to facilitate credit services to the members. The SACCO is offering only loans for business-related issues. He was speaking at East Cobb Methodist Church in Marietta, GA. recently during a presentation attended by Kenyans.
The organization, which is headquatered in Kenya has now grown to a multi-faceted organization. “It has many undertakings, i.e. investments, microfinance, tours and travel, real estate and the ever growing media,” said the founder.
According to information from the Team, FEP today is commanding presence in Nairobi Metropolitan, Kirinyaga, Meru, Nanyuki,Nyeri, Embu, Tharaka, Isiolo, Narok, Kapenguria and others in the USA, UK and Dubai. The organization has crossed oceans to reach out to Diaspora Kenyans to create a secure and trusted platform through which to invest back home.
FEP is currently involved in; Fountain Bank Initiative , Fountain Group of Schools, FEP Group of Hotels and Fountain Media Group.
Mr. Kithaka said that his company has a base capital of Kshs 200 million but still needs to raise more money. Kithaka told KEN that he was exploring the modalities of setting up a base in Atlanta under the leadership of Rev. Peter Kaimatheri, a local pastor who has been working with him on the venture.
The organization is looking to expand it membership in the Diaspora and to sell shares starting from Ksh 360,000. The CEO told KEN that currently FEP has over 6,000 members across the country with 600 shareholders
