Meet ChaseMode: Chasing after more of God's glory

Chasemode is building on the foundation of great ministers like Sherwin Gardner & Chevelle Franklin among others. Some of his musical influences include Monty G, Mr. Lynx, Reuben Heights & Papa San. His passion to encourage young brethren and snatch souls out of the kingdom of darkness was birthed when he was 18 with the help of Vineyard records in Nairobi , Kenya . Chasemode has made lifting up the name of Jesus a lifestyle, and God continues to propel him forward with new songs in his mouth. 

When asked in a recent interview with KEN staff about ministering through these styles of music, Chasemode explained “it shows the freedom we have in Christ, freedom to worship God in any style or form as long as it gives glory and honor to His name!” His debut album, Gospel unlimited chapter one, rocks the spirit of man with razor-sharp lyrics and Satan-stomping beats. Reggae hits like, ‘Nimwabudu nani?’ (Indicating, to whom else can I give worship)? and the sermon epitomize the ministry God has placed in his heart. According to Chasemode, "the rise of moral degradation in our society and generation cannot be overlooked anymore!” His ministry is a channel for him to reach out to people in many nations, to be a clear pointer to Jesus Christ, and his cry is that this generation will be saved from the moral decadence of today's world, and receive the free gift of salvation.

Chasemode’s ministry has been featured on kenyangospel.com and has had air play on many Kenya radio stations. He is furious about saving souls for the kingdom of God and everyone will realize they can have fun living free in Christ with a taste of Chasemode's ministry and Chasemode's different flavors that are ‘mosdef’ setting the bar high in de Christian Reggae industry!

Chasemode currently resides in Maryland , U.S and is attending the University of Maryland Eastern Shore ; he is undertaking a degree in music education, with concentration on choral. And you know what that means?.....when he's done with the degree....music!...you'd better watch out!

The new album will be a blend of slow-paced reggae music inspired to lead the church to worship as well as Chasemode’s favorite, wisdom-filled, Bible-derived songs accompanied by a set of all new hype and stage-rocking Caribbean  beats, Chasemode hopes to have Gospel Unlimited Chapter 2 released pretty soon! There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs.
