A Kenyan living by himself took his life on Wednesday last week and his body was discovered on Saturday 02/02/08 by the police department when they broke to his apartment. His neighbors became suspicious when they didn’t see him for two days while his car was parked outside. He hanged himself on the bathroom door. He was being evicted from the apartment for failure to pay rent which might be the reason of taking his life.
Eric Kabuga 29 yrs came to the US in 1999 as a student admitted to one of the universities in Minneapolis Minnesota. Then he relocated to California where he has cousins.
His family is among those displaced in Eldoret where he used to live prior coming to the US. His body is kept at San Bernardino,California
Kenyans are raising money to transport his remains to Kenya-Karatina-Nyeri at his grandfather’s farm for burial because of violence in Eldoret.

Not even once, I've met him several times and even though we weren't close friends...more like acquitances, we used to exchange pleasantries whenever we met. I'm very saddened by this news.
